In world of art and entertainment Kaleidoscope has left a mark in the biosphere of Bengali cinema by producing “Kedara”. Kaleidoscope’s maiden venture as Producer has seen the debut of Indradip Dasgupta the celebrated Bengali music director as a film maker. The film ‘Kedara’ is the celebration of loneliness according to the Director Indradip. The film depicts the unsuccesses (not failures) of a loner, the celebration of the journey of an unsuccessful man played by another celebrated Filmmaker Kaushik Ganguli, in a larger than life way which is paradoxical yet realistic as one may see it. Kaleidoscope as a producer plays a key role in backing the project which is out of the box and off the beaten track. We takes a risk in our maiden venture too by producing a film which may not have the content for the mass but eventually may strike a chord among those who have a better understanding of loneliness. Bismillah

Kaleidoscope’s solo produced Bengali multi-starrer feature film ‘Bismillah’ directed by Indraadip Dasgupta released in August 2022. It already acclaimed critical appreciation amongst film critiques. Playing Shehnahi is his family tradition and playing flute is his love. Bismillah resembles with Krishna and found his sole-mate Radha and lost again and again. The performances of Riddi, Subhashree, Kaushik Ganguly, Bidipta and many more has mesmerized the audience. A musical spectacle featuring mega stars and melodious voices contributed by leading singers of Indian Film Industry like Arijit Singh, Shreya Ghosal, Kaushiki Chakraborty and many more.

Kaleidoscope’s next Bengali multi-starrer feature film “Putul Nacher Itikotha” adopted from the Novel of the same name authored by Sri. Manik Bandopadhyay. The feature film depicts the sensitive political situation of the post war period; Putul Nacher Itikatha is not the story of a single individual, as a victim of the contemporary situation. Rather Putul Nacher Itikatha delineates the condition of different individual, portraying the variety of life in rural Bengal.
